In response to customer demand, we have developed a cladding profile to allow you to cut down on waste, installation time and ultimately to save you money!

With a tongue on one end of your board and a groove on the other end, there is no need to cut your boards to the match the lengths between your battens.  The tongue and groove will slot into place, allowing you to screw your board onto the batten at any point on your board.

End-matching will allow you to place joints where they fall, instead of on the stud, allowing you to finish the job more quickly without sacrificing on quality.

Our Kiln Dried Oak Tongue and Groove Ends Matched Cladding is the ideal choice should you require that traditional 'T&G' look to your cladding project, speedier fixing times, along with the natural durability and stunning grain of Oak.

UK Timber works with the Treatex brand to enable us to offer you treatments and finishes for both internal and external applications. Our Treatex Douglas Fir Protection offers long lasting weather protection for external applications, whereas for internal applications our range of Treatex Hardwax Oils will enhance the woods natural appearance and characteristics. Should you wish to leave it to age gracefully, your boards will eventually turn to a beautiful silvery grey colour.

If exposed to varying weather conditions before fitting your boards, they are likely to cup, warp and split; the ideal time to fit cladding to keep this to a minimum is between the months of October and April and within 7 to 14 days of delivery.

Ready to fix and available in two options - first grade and character:

•    First grade is sorted to include only the clearest (most knot free) boards with the straightest grain possible. A perfect choice for all modern and contemporary applications.
•    Character will have a mixture of all top four grades, 1 through to 4 - some clear of knots and some straight grain, others with knots and some sloping grain. A perfect choice for all traditional/rustic applications, it gives a less uniformed look, without compromising its excellent durability properties.

End-matching (Tongue and Groove) will allow you to place joints where they fall, instead of on the stud, allowing you to finish the job more quickly without sacrificing on quality and helps minimise wastage.

Priced per square metre and supplied in random lengths between 1600mm and 6000mm unless otherwise specified for an additional charge:

•    Set lengths up to 3500mm - £4.00 extra per square metre exc VAT
•    Set lengths above 3500mm - £8.00 extra per square metre exc VAT

This can be done by adding the 'Set lengths (Cladding)' product to your basket (1 quantity = 1 square meter of cladding). You will need the same amount of cladding and set lengths in your basket to get the set lengths that you need so make sure to double check you have added the correct quantity.
