620mm Wide Full Stave Solid European Oak Worktop

Created from kiln-dried European oak, full-length solid Oak staves are skilfully laminated, providing stability and strength to the worktop. Using a random mix of full length stave will prove to give an elegant and imposing, contemporary look and feel that a cheaper block construction can't achieve. 

Choose from two distinct grades of European Oak- Character or Prime.

• Character grade worktops will have more imperfections such as knots and a large allowance for sapwood, but will be completely filled leaving a smooth fine.
• Prime grade worktops will contain less character features and fewer knots with a smaller allowance for sapwood for that clean contemporary look.

Please note, that although planed and sanded using a fine grit paper, it is still possible that this product will require further finishing before a stain, lacquer, oil or varnish is applied. (oiling has been known to highlight any minor defects that are not apparent in unfinished condition)
