Treated Softwood Pyramid Top Newel

Newels are one of the main structural elements of any balustrade. Our pressure treated softwood pyramid newel posts are made from green pressure treated softwood for protection against fungal decay and insect attack. Upon external exposure, the green colour slowly weathers to a warm, honey brown and in the longer term becomes a natural silver grey. Finished with an elegant pyramid top for a classic style, these newels are ideal for anyone looking for a balustrade that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but offers longevity.
