Redwood Thermowood

Made from high quality Redwood Thermowood with a fine sawn finish, our Redwood Thermowood Cladding options are suitable for domestic, commercial and agricultural cladding projects. Thermally treated timber has undergone first a kiln drying process and afterwards a thermal treatment for up to 48 hours and 260 degrees celsius. This process modifies the cellular structure of the material and will prevent degradation via insect attack, rot, weathering etc for many decades. The process changes the colour of the timber to various shades of brown depending on material, our Scandinavian redwood fifths end up a nice light chocolate brown.
